THE 2016 INTERNATIONAL BRAIN BEE COMPETITION: The 2016 International Brain Bee competition will take place from June 29th – July 4th in Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of the annual Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) conference, where the National Brain Bee Champions from all over the world will be recognized during the Opening Ceremony.

BRAIN ART AT THE AMERICAN LIBRARY IN PARIS: March 7, 2015 – In celebration of Brain Awareness Week, the Library was pleased to present a special exhibition titled Brains in Paint, which featured artwork created by children ages 8-12 during a Library workshop facilitated by Shannon Connelly on 7 March 2015.

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. Every March, BAW unites the efforts of partner organizations worldwide in a celebration of the brain for people of all ages. 2017 Brain Awareness Week is scheduled for 13-19 March 2017.
